As Head of People, this is a fantastic chance to continue to develop all the necessary HR products in an entrepreneurial, vibrant setting, yet with sufficient infrastructure to accelerate. You will create a strategy and set outlines on topics like employee development, one of the first steps Mapiq wants to take in order to unlock the teams’ full potential. Additional subjects are for example growth, leadership development, remuneration, and health & wellbeing. All supported by our talent manager, next to the hiring activities of our inhouse recruiter. And the rest of the Mapiq team!

Your role will be

  • To develop, execute and ensure a company wide people vision and strategy, regarding retaining and developing talent
  • Develop and build on current HR processes in close cooperation with our talent manager and recruiter and create an integrated vision on talent management
  • Transform competence & reward management into a modern setup
  • Support and advise the management team on HR related matters
  • Share in fun: We love our jobs and work hard, but we definitely know how to play hard too – although we can’t have drinks at the office nowadays, we still organize virtual events (like a Bob Ross Painting Night or an Among Us Game Night). Once we can go back to the office, we’ll continue with our boot camps on Tuesdays and Thursdays, annual Mapiq party and board game nights.  

About you

We aim for a Head of People with natural and decisive leadership skills, someone who can easily combine and promote the interests of the company and the individuals. You know how to reach your goals and will share this knowledge with your team and Mapiq as a whole. We try to keep it realistic, but if we must describe our perfect candidate it would be someone with;

  • A minimum of 10 years operational & strategic HR experience
  • Operating in an organizational sensitive, flexible and energetic way
  • This isn’t the first time you’ve faced these challenges. A track record in setting up performance & development in a modern (tech) scale-up company is what we look for
  • Understanding the key drivers of recruitment, performance, culture and engagement, and the interplay of these drivers
  • You have a completed bachelor's or master's degree

The role requires fluency in both Dutch and English, with a minimum of 32 hours of availability.
