The Implementation Engineer role involves managing the implementation of Mapiq's solutions, working closely with customers and internal teams. Your role at Mapiq

As an Implementation Engineer, you play a vital role in ensuring a successful implementation of our cutting-edge Mapiq platform. You are the go-to person for technical expertise, providing guidance and assistance to customers and internal teams. Collaboration and clear communication is key in this role, as you will work closely with our customers, Customer Success, and Product teams to implement and onboard the Mapiq platform for our customers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to independently manage projects for improving our way of working or running a co development project with on of our customers, showcasing your versatility and ability to deliver results.

What else to expect from this role:

  • Implement the full Mapiq product for our Customers, managing both the project management side and performing the implementation tasks.

  • Set up technical integrations for our customers, like authentication methods (Single Sign-On) and integrations (APIs, room calendars from M365 and/or Google Workspace).

  • Support and oversee the installation and troubleshooting of sensor hardware in our customer's offices.

  • Support the Product team with feature developments for customers acting as a bridge between the customer and the Product team.

  • Have the ability and desire to fully understand the end-to-end process flow to guide customers effectively and think for the customer.

  • Provide technical support with a focus on reducing customer effort.

  • Contribute to providing feedback to the Product team, improving the Implementations & Support team's working methods.

  • Collaborate with different teams within Mapiq that are part of the customer's journey.

  • Resolve support-related queries escalated from the Support Engineer.

Who are we looking for?

We try to keep it realistic, but if we have to describe our perfect candidate, it would be someone with more than 3 years of experience as a implementation engineer, or implementation consultant.

Next to that you:

  • Have excellent in time management, ensuring a proper balance between Implementation, Support, and side projects.

  • Are a quick learner that can swiftly apply newly learned skills.

  • Are a flexible worker that can switch focus from the different tasks coming your way.

  • Have strong and proven communication skills.

  • Have experience with supporting customers in which you have lead client-facing implementations and supporting them through offered services.

  • Have a technical background in which you have a clear understanding of IT principles and applying it.

  • are being able to translate complex queries to understandable languages our customers can easily understand.

  • Customer is king principle, in which you try to remove all forms of effort for our customer.

  • Excellent in English, Dutch is a significant plus.

  • Authorized to work in The Netherlands.
