Your most important responsibilities will be:

  1. Workplace management

With our workplace experience specialist, you will ensure the Mapiq workplace lives and breathes the energetic Mapiq culture. You can think of organizing and hosting all Mapiq events and after-work drinks till managing our office contracts.

  2. People operations

You will perform people operations tasks and associated administration. You will provide our mutations to the payroll provider monthly and handle all cases related to visa, IND, 30% ruling, and UWV processes. In addition, you will support the People & Culture Director with recruitment-related activities and calendar management.

  3. Financial operations

You will support our financial administrator with managing all incoming and outgoing invoices, processing bank transactions and accounts receivable.

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking someone with minimal 3 years of proven experience in office management, administrative support, or a similar role within a start-up or scale-up environment.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has high energy, will be making impact on our internal events, attends them, and will be the last to leave. You are easily connected with other people, and on the other hand can focus on the administration tasks and understand the sensitivity of working with financial and HR data.

Next to that:

  • You feel comfortable in an environment where you would be taking on a broad set of tasks.

  • You are able to present yourself in a professional manner with excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch.

  • You are tech-savvy and easily work with office related systems.

  • You have a degree in business administration, hospitality or HR.

  • Experience in organizing employee events and inspiring us with new ideas would be great.

We are working in an industry that is going sky high, and we wouldn’t be able to keep up without the talented people we have at Mapiq. We always strive to hire people that bring their own ideas, background and culture to help us raise the bar.

What to expect?

  • We believe that magic happens when we work together as the total Mapiq team. This is why we have Thunder Thursday as our purposeful attendance office day.

  • We think work is about reaching goals and developing yourself professionally and personally. We care about your well-being and offer free mental health support.

  • We have  50+ employees who have built a strong community of board game enthusiasts, sports fanatics, coffee lovers, and more! Be yourself and have fun!

  • Competitive pay: to us, that means that we pay you what seems fair to us, based on your current experience and skills. We’ll discuss salary with you during our first interaction to ensure you know what to expect.

  • Please let us know if you think specific tools or devices should be part of your job offer. We will also provide you with €300 reimbursement to improve your home office, so you'll always be comfortable!

  • And of course, we provide a pension plan, 25 vacation days, and travel reimbursement.
